A LANDSCAPE MADE FOR THE SCREEN
Location Filming
Filming on the Estate
We have a wealth of experience with location filming, and have hosted more than 30 productions on the estate over the last five years, from BBC period drama to Netflix features. We have also provided backdrops for still shoots, adverts and music videos.
Our portfolio of buildings includes a Georgian manor house with period interiors, stables and outbuildings, a large Edwardian greenhouse, a ruined medieval chapel, a variety of houses including a number of chocolate-box thatched cottages, stone barns (some isolated), a ruined castle, an old Scouts hut, modern farm sheds, an old water mill, an American-style barn, and two cabins in the woods.
Landscapes include rolling farmland, two rivers, an historic, unspoiled village, a large area of woodland (accessible throughout the year), a large garden with formal terraces, parkland, a spectacular swallow hole, private roads, and extensive coastal dunes with areas of open sand and scrub.

What We Offer
Set Builds
As well as serving as potential locations in their own right, a number of buildings are also suitable for set builds on location: previous examples have included an empty stone barn transformed into a period pub, a modern shed turned into a car repair shop, and a large cabin re-purposed as a gothic torture chamber.
Privacy
Filming on the estate can be carried out with the peace of mind of privacy and security, away from prying eyes and the complications of filming in a public space.
Unit Base
Two adjacent fields based on free-draining sandy soil are set up to accommodate large trucks, cars, and associated equipment for unit bases. Dedicated wifi coverage is also available as well as electric hook ups with renewable power.
Scouting
For further information or to arrange a visit to scout for a possible location, please contact the Estate Office and we will be happy to discuss your requirements or show you around.
Props
Together with an exceptional range of potential locations, we can also offer or arrange a variety of props from vehicles and machinery to tools, hay bales, and even farm animals.
Help & Assistance
If needed, we have a willing and experienced team on hand to help make the filming process as seamless as possible. Whether it’s support with logistics such as transporting equipment, or ground works, or practical aspects such as tree safety work, we are happy to assist.
Image Gallery
We have an extensive image gallery of potential accessible film locations around the Estate which we are happy to share on request.
