The Big Dipper Trail
Climb to the summit of the Big Dipper — at 200 feet, one of the highest sand dunes in Europe. The ascent is steep and sandy, but the panoramic views across the Bristol Channel and the Glamorgan coastline reward every step.
Candleston Castle Walk
A gentle walk from the car park through woodland to the atmospheric ruins of Candleston Castle, a 14th-century fortified manor house slowly being reclaimed by the dunes. A perfect introduction to the Warren.
The Beach Trail
Cross the dunes to reach 1.3 kilometres of sandy beach. The trail winds through shifting sand and scrubland before opening to wild, unspoilt coastline. Allow extra time — you won't want to leave.

Riverside Ramble
Follow the River Ogmore from the village stepping stones through meadows and woodland. Cross the historic wooden bridge and loop back through the estate's parkland. Flat, peaceful, and perfect for families.
Woodland Circuit
Wind through Candleston Woods where ancient oaks and beeches form a leafy canopy overhead. In spring, the woodland floor is carpeted with bluebells. A sheltered walk for when the wind picks up on the dunes.
The Full Warren Loop
The definitive walk through the entire National Nature Reserve. From car park to castle, dunes to beach, and back through woodland. A full day's adventure through 840 acres of protected landscape.
